HARARE – As the global job market becomes increasingly competitive, a new initiative is stepping up to ensure Zimbabwean graduates and school leavers are prepared for the demands of the professional world. ALMA (Africa Leadership and Management Academy), in partnership with HireMe Afrika, has officially announced the launch of the Zimbabwe Work Readiness Program.
This 4-month intensive internship is designed to polish the next generation of professional talent by focusing on "Future-Ready Competencies" that employers value most.
The program arrives at a critical time for early-career job seekers. Recognizing that academic qualifications alone often fall short of modern employer expectations, the curriculum provides a direct pathway to paid internships with top-tier hiring companies, offering both remote and on-site opportunities.
The program focuses on four essential areas of professional development:
Professional Branding: Building a strong identity with polished digital profiles and CVs.
Public Speaking: Mastering confident communication and impactful speech delivery.
Leadership: Developing ethical leadership, time management, and data-driven decision-making.
Sales & Marketing: Gaining practical expertise in digital tools and modern marketing strategies.
Registration Deadline: 1 July 2026
Sessions Start: 4 July 2026
Program Cost: USD 80
